Quick Start Guide
Get FileSure deployed to your first client in under 30 minutes.
Download
Get the FileSure installer from the MSP trial page. Single MSI file, under 50MB.
Install Server
Run the installer on your management server. Default settings work for most deployments.
Deploy Agents
Push the agent to client machines via your RMM or Group Policy. Silent install supported.
Configure Alerts
Point alerts to your RMM system. Pre-configured rules start working immediately.

- Windows Server 2012 R2 or later (2019/2022 recommended)
- 2 GB RAM minimum (4 GB recommended)

Agent (Workstations/Servers)
- All Windows versions from legacy through Windows 11
- Windows Server 2008 R2 through Server 2022
- 50 MB disk space
- Minimal RAM footprint (~50 MB)
- Less than 2% CPU impact
Network
- Agents communicate with server over TCP
- Configurable port (default: 8530)
- Works across VPNs and remote sites
- No cloud dependency — all data stays on your infrastructure
RMM Integration
FileSure integrates with the tools you already use. Alerts appear in your existing dashboard.
ConnectWise
FileSure alerts create tickets automatically via the ConnectWise API. Configure priority, board, and status mapping.
NinjaOne
Events appear in your NinjaOne dashboard. Filter and sort alongside your other endpoint monitoring data.
Kaseya
Integration with Kaseya VSA for centralized alerting. Works with your existing alert escalation policies.
Datto
FileSure events integrate with Datto RMM. Unified view of security events across your client base.
N-able
Compatible with N-able N-sight and N-central. Alerts flow into your existing monitoring workflow.
Email/Syslog
For other systems, FileSure supports email alerts and Syslog output. Works with any platform that accepts these formats.
Splunk

Deployment Options
RMM Deployment
Push the FileSure agent via your RMM platform. The installer supports silent mode with command-line parameters for server address and configuration.

Group Policy Deployment
For Active Directory environments, deploy via Group Policy. The MSI is GPO-ready with no modification needed.
Assign to Computer Configuration for automatic installation at startup.
Manual Installation
For smaller deployments or testing, run the installer directly. The setup wizard guides you through server connection and basic configuration.
Scripted Deployment
Use PowerShell or batch scripts to automate deployment. Download, install, and configure in a single script.
Pre-Configured Rules
FileSure ships with rules that address the most common MSP use cases. Active on install — no configuration required.
Watch for Phishing Malware
Detects when trusted programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) write suspicious files to disk. Catches malware that arrives via email attachments.
Watch Office Files
Audits access to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. Creates a complete history of who opened, modified, or copied each file.

Tracks all USB device usage. Logs files copied to removable drives, including device serial numbers for identification.
